Anna Ivanova
Since my study at the Nazib Zhiganov Conservatory in Kazan where I achieved my Bachelor and Master’s degree, I have had the chance to become teacher/piano specialist at Yoshkar Ola’s (our republics Capital city) Music College. I won various piano competitions.
In addition I did solo performances.
After getting settled in Belgium I started as a concert master. I kept on studying and followed masterclasses of Jan Wijn of the Amsterdam Sweelinck conservatory.
Later I got selected as a teacher for the Bechstein Pianoforte factories in Berlin. This also provided me the opportunity to do quite some concerts. As such I love to perform all kinds of classical music which I did and still do on various stages throughout Europe.
Presently I am being coached by Joop Celis of the Maastricht Conservatory who I consider to be a great professional.
Being Russian of course I love to play Rachmaninov, Prokovief, Schostakowitsch etc. Further I love Chopin, Mozart, Schubert, Schumann, Albeniz and of course Liszt (with a preference for his later spiritual work) .
